"Señora Raiz" by Project B

"I was dealing with a recent move from urban San Francisco to the mountainous desert of central Mexico. Feeling inexplicably dislocated and out of place, I anchored myself by piecing together old photos from my collection with natural elements that I collected from the ground. they don't go together naturally (ie an old photo of a couple with a cactus), I was able to immerse myself more in my new surroundings.
