Charros, is a personal series of Fine Arts on Charreada. As one of the most appreciated sports in Mexico, it is also a clear expression of its heritage. They reveal the history of Mexico, These images represent a cultural statement of courage, struggle and power, they also try to impress the aesthetics, the poetic movement and the beauty within riding.
Nicole Franco is a Mexican-American documentary and commercial photographer. She studied at the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy and graduated from the Academy of Art University. . She is a native of California, but has spent the last six years in central Mexico. Nicole still frequents Los Angeles for work. Some clients include: Microsoft, San Francisco General Hospital, El Jimador Tequila, The View, ESPN, The Hospital Infantil Mexico City, Lions Club International, Planet Water, The Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Los Angeles Times, People en Espanol Magazine, Airbnb, Netflix and National Geographic.
She is also an educator and has taught documentary classes for the Lucie Foundation's SNAPSHOP program, a photography workshop for at-risk youth.
Nicole is an Eddie Adams XXIII alumna and a proud member of Women Photograph & Diversify Photo.
